(After Darrla allowed Malfrith to stab her, two of his men chased after her and almost left her for dead. Luckily Viri came in and knocked them BOTH out! Darrla’s horse Noname brings her to the Hunting Lodge and she somehow finds her way inside the lodge)
Darrla lies unconscious upon the floor, her wounds still bleeding, yet most have clotted closed. She had lost a lot of blood throughout the night, and most of the blood that laid upon the ground was hers, and not the bears. She was still breathing, yet it was very shallow.
Celebarn pulls lint and bandages from his pouch and kneels in the blood checking for wounds.
Darrla has a huge gash across the left side of her rib cage, two ribs cracked though not apparent, one stab wound in her back and another deep within her chest. It was luck, a trustworthy horse, and an admirable kinsmate that she was still alive.
Celebarn sets the bandages aside and calls for one of the gaurds together they slide Darrla out of the blood. He goes to work cleaning the wounds with liquid from a vial then stiches them with a needle and thread.
Darrla does not budge an inch, she was completely out of it due to all the blood loss. She didn't even utter a moan as the needle went through her flesh.
Celebarn nexts works on binding the wounds with the clean bandages. Calls to one of the gaurds for a pot of boiling water, crumbles a few athelas leaves into the pot and sits down noing there was nothing else he could do for the moment.
Darrla at least still had her blades, and someone to look after her. Her horse had drug her here knowing that this may just be the only safe place that she could go. Seeing on how her 'brothers' own kinsmates and ex fiance were the ones who had attacked her.
Celebarn sits in silence not doing anything other that checking for signs of life and Darrla's wounds every so often.
Celebarn walks out of the back room and seeing Milli bows.
Millian lays the maps on the table, looking up at Celebarn. "Mae govannen, Celebarn i Nolwe."
Celebarn waves his hand dismissively. "Come Millian we have know each other long enough that you have no need to call me lord. Darrla is in the back room it appears someone tried to kill her, she has lost alot of blood."
Millian looks startled, peering towards the back room. "Is she a new recruit of ours? Do we have any information on the attack?"
Celebarn shakes his head "No to both of those. She was and still is unconscious. I have done what I could and now we wait until she wakes, which could be some time."
Millian lowers her voice. "She should be well in your care. I suppose with the state of the roads it could be difficult to move her, though I cringe to think of leaving a wounded woman back there..."
Celebarn nods "I will see that the gaurds have her moved to a room up stairs as soon as she is stable enough to do so."

Raigar kneels slowly beside Darrla, fingers rolling over her body until they brushed her cheek. "By all the fates.." he whispers softly, glancing her over.
Darrla lies motionless by the fire, her wounds had stopped bleeding, yet were still apparent since she was wearing little to nothing. Her breath was wheezed and her eyes glossed as those emeralds starred into the fire, though she could not move much, her insides were screaming to get out. She felt the brushed fingers and her eyes went wide, and she heard a somewhat familiar voice, though it did not register yet. "Come to finish me off?"
Raigar grins softly. "No. I would not lay a hand towards your death unless you were fully armed and capable of laying a hand in my fate." Slowly he withdrew the hand and set to dampening a cloth with water from his cantine.
Darrla frowns as her heart wretches for a moment, suddenly seeing a side of Rai she had never seen. "I feel as if everyone has abandoned me.....left me for dead..." :Her last word were caught by a small erruption of blood in her throat, possibly from a punctured lung:
Raigar bows his head and wipes the blood from her lips. Fingertips turned her head just slightly before he searched her body for wounds. "Save that hatred, my dear.. You'll need it later." Blue eyes flicker wickedly in the light of the fireplace. "Unless you have resigned your fate to this day, on this cold floor."
Raigar sits with Darrla.
Darrla smiles as she manages to turn her body to face him, her hand slowly crawling to find his, she gave it a tight squeeze to show that she still had life. All of her wounds were bandaged and salved, thanks to Celebarn (Sp?) but beneath those bandages lay a huge gash on her left side, a deep dagger wound to her back, and a deep one to her front. She frowned for a moment as she sighed in a stiffling breath. "Those men at Lowbanks won't bring me down so easily."
Raigar quirks a brow. "Malfrith did this?" he asks, fingers again brushing over her lips.
Darrla tried her best to shake her head. "Just the first hit....I let him have it so he could move on with his life....when he was done with what he had to do I left, and his two men followed me to make sure they completed the job."
Raigar hmms softly, slowly chewing his lip. "What can I do for you, precious?"
Darrla allows those fierce emeralds to look up at him as she squeezes his hand once more. "Did you find your wife? She was looking for you..." :She clentched her jaw, it hurt so much to say, but she could not deny herself the feelings she had for this man, and while she could act in complete ignorance, she had seen Isen talking to the woman, heard the word Raigar's wife, and was absolutely crushed. That and Thorvall's wife telling Dar that him and Eala have been together more than Dar would have liked.
Raigar glances up slightly, gaze setting towards the fire. Light laugh escaped his throat before he turned his head to one side and glanced back at her. "Yes, she found me.." he replies softly.
Darrla keeps her jaw clentched and closes her eyes keeping any emotion out of them. "Then that is all I need from you."
Raigar smirks slowly, setting his eyes to Darrla. "Then savour that hatred for me as well, Darrla," he murred.
Darrla opened her eyes which were filled with water, yet she dared them to fall from the lid. Her lower lip quivered for a moment and she bit it to the point of bleeding. Yet, there was a time for pride and a time to swallow it. "Why do you ask me to stay if you have someone to keep your bed warm?"
Raigar hmms quietly and brushes Darrla's lips with his hand. "I told you Darrla. I think you have potential." Eyes flicker slowly. "As for my bed - I fear it will stay cold for a few more nights. Lord Thorvall has asked I lead the militia of Bree into battle in the Ettenmoors."
Darrla did not like all these responses he was giving her, he wasn't being straightforward with her which only angered her even more. As much as it hurt, she rolled back over on her other side facing the fire so she was able to hide her emotions from him. she wanted to cry out in pain as she wretched back over from her damaged wound, putting weight on her other wounds, but she did not utter a word.
Raigar hmms slowly and leans down. Lips press softly against her cheek, fingers curling gently over her belly. "I'm sorry for your wounds, Darrla.. I'll make sure nobody touches you while you heal."
Darrla slowly allows those tears to flow from her eyes as he kissed her cheek. "Why are you doing this? As if I was not insane enough......" :She sipped in a deep breath of air: "When do you leave?"
Raigar smiles slowly. "Which question would you like me to answer, Darrla?"
Darrla says, 'I don't care for your answer to the first, just answer the last. :She did care, in fact she wanted to know exactly why he was here, if it was just her potential he was trying to secure, or something more than that.:'
Raigar shrugs lightly. "As soon as I'm certain you'll survive the night, Darrla.. I'm part of a scouting party riding ahead to survey the roads."
Darrla says, 'Trying to secure your investment in me?'
Raigar sits down.
Raigar gives a soft hmm. "Something like that.." he says, giving her shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Never doubt my feelings toward you, Darrla.. You and I are one of a kind, and I will not forget it."
Darrla rolls her eyes and keeps herself from laughing, in fear that it would hurt too much to bare. "Your feeling towards me? What feelings are those exactly?"
Raigar shrugs lightly. "Did you not know them that night in the Forest, Darrla?"
Darrla says, 'It is obvious that I am a bit out of sorts, not only this day due to my wounds, but in general. So why don't you just tell me so I don't have to assume anything.'
Raigar smiles. "You mean the world to me Darrla. It is not often I come across anyone much like myself, but you..." He murrs softly, his gaze flickering. "My feelings for you that night were real - I wasn't just trying to get in your pants."
Raigar winks at Darrla. Interesting.
Darrla seems to grow even more angered by his words. Her heart thumping hard as her hand raises to whipe away the tears and she cringes at the pain. "And what of your wife? What feelings do you have for her?"
Raigar quietly hmms as he attempts to decide whether or not it was wise to reveal that Eala was not his wife. Instead, he sides with his logic and bows his head. "My 'wife' and I have some catching up to do. For truly I must speak with her in regards to her return and the new occupants of my shop.
Darrla closes her eyes as she felt a piece of herself giving up on fighting to stay alive. "Then I pray you return safe, for her sake. Though you may not see me when you return."
Raigar smiles softly and starts to rise. "The gods no longer hear our prayers, my queen.. And if you dissappear, I will come some day to find you Darrla - even in the afterlife."
Darrla says, 'I wish you luck then, there is no hope in this life for me. I have done what I can and find nothing but abandonment and ill intentions.....:She kept her eyes closed, the pain throughout her body emotionally was too much for her to bare. She only wished that she could walk out now and take a ride on her hose to return to where she felt the safest.'
Raigar nods slowly. "That's all any of us have left.." he whispers as he turns. He left the cloth and cantine of water at her side, fastening his weapons as he made his way towards the door.
Darrla allows a faint cry of whispers as she huddled forward and squeezed her eyes shut. She didn't want him to leave her, she was too afraid to tell him, afraid of what he might have thought. "Please..." :Though the words might have gone on faint ears, she couldn't see him, and her words choked out with emotion. "Don't leave me here to die alone...."
Raigar hmms softly, turning back to Darrla. Eyes flickered upon her before he cracked a smirk. "You're not going to die, Darrla.." he said as he strolled to her side.
Raigar sits with Darrla.
Darrla, '~Her lower lip quivered as she tried to keep her eyes shut, yet those tears still came.~ I have never been this close....I don't have a will to fight anymore.....my body wants to give up.'
Raigar hmms softly. "Live for revenge if you must, Darrla.."
Darrla says, 'Sometimes revenge isn't enough. :She sighs and shakes her head: Give me a good reason to fight.....'
Raigar says, 'Then live for me. I still have use for you, Darrla.. I can still give you purpose in life.'
Darrla says, 'I make no promises....go and do what you must for Thorval and his men. We shall see if I am still around when you return.'
Raigar says, 'I would stay with you through the night if you wish, Darrla.'
Darrla nods her head. "Perhaps that would be best....incase I get the strength to take my leave." :She smiled to herself:
Raigar nods and sits beside Darrla, arms folding around his knees. Fingers laid over her belly, stroking softly.
