Malfrith walks over to the table, and begins writing up a letter.
Darrla begins murmoring in her sleep, her entire body covered in sweat.
Malfrith looks back, a sadness could be seen clearly in his eyes. He looks back to the letter and finishes it. walking quietly to her side.
Darrla begins coughing in her sleep, blood splattering into a kerchief that she had been hiding, it was covered in dried blood already.
Malfrith eyes open wide as he slips his mask over his head a momment, showing his scarred face. He placed the letter sneakily in her dress, (So she couldent miss it lol). After he gets on his knees next to her, taking the rag and wiping her mouth
Darrla slowly shakes, her body hot to the touch, and her dress now soaked from sweat. After a few more minutes she stops coughing, her mouth full of blood and her hair matted to her face from the sweat.
Malfrith sobs quietly at her side, reaching into his bag and pulling out the water pouch going to rinse her mouth out, "I'm so...-sorry-...Why coulden't I have died..." his voice shook as he spoke.
Darrla whimpers in her sleep some more as her teeth begin to chatter. "Please don't let them take me...."
Malfrith begins to humm her song quietly, reaching up and gently brushing her hair. Still tears poured down his cheek.
Darrla smiles in her sleep. Nobody knew that song except for him, and he seemed to be the only one that was able to scare away the nightmares. The dreams may have been gone, but her fever never ceased and her whole body shook with the chills.
Malfrith hears footsteps outside and quickly pulls down his mask. Whispering something quietly to Darrla as she sleeps. He goes to stand and walk outside trying to calm himself.
Malfrith whispers: Goodbye my love...'
Darrla whimpered once more as she began to flail a bit in her sleep. "Don't let them take me away from my family....."
Malfrith hears her and stops in his tracks. Looking back at her a momment, and lets out a quiet sigh. He steps out of the doorway and looks to the three from behind his mask, "There is coin to be gotten Aarik." he says strongly.
Darrla begins to cry aloud as the singing ceased, she began to flail a bit more, thank goodness nobody was in the room with her.
Malfrith looks back at darrla eyes opened wide, "No! No it dosen't! I must take care of this woman, she is sick! I apoligize Aarik."
Darrla grasps ahold of the blankets and thrashes about as sweat beads from her entire body, her legs entangled with the sheets now as she cries again. "Let me go!"
Aarik blinks again. Turning from Mal to Lainie. "Er... did I miss something?"
Malfrith looks back at Darrla once more, "I apoligize, I truely do." he walks back into and shuts the door behind him.
Aarik shakes his head, muttering something nonpolite about 'skirts'.
Darrla wiggles in the bed trying to get free. "Don't take me from my family...please!"
Malfrith walks over to the side of the bed, humming her song once more.
Aarik says, 'Well... So there's -not- any work tonight. *returns to the table, slowly sitting down*'
Darrla whimpers still gripping the covers tight as her breaths are still jagged, she begins coughing once more, blood spitting out from her mouth as those deep winded coughs are expelled.
Malfrith wipes away the blood from her mouth continuing to hum the song.
Darrla slowly loosens her grip, yet her brows were furrowed and her eyes clentched, she was afraid. "Don't....let them take....me..." :Her breaths were slower as her coughing ceased:
Malfrith thinks to himself as he hums the song. Sprouting an idea he goes to scoop her up.
Darrla is scooped up, her entire body heated, and her dress soaked in sweat.
Malfrith opens the door with his foot, "I know what will help her..." he said quietly to the other as he went to leave.
Ellbor stares at malfrith "il let you go sence you have darrla but i am still going to get you."
Malfrith says, 'Thank you... Your spear is in beggars alley by the black rock. I have no want for it.'
Ellbor says, 'wait what is worng with her?'
Ellbor nods "do you mind if i go with you and see if she's okay?"
Malfrith nods, "I do not mind, I'm taking her to the roofs." he holds Darrla tightly in one arm and begins climbing up.
Malfrith lays darrla down on the rooftop, "Are you satisfied now?" he says looking over to ellbor
Ellbor looks to malfrith "no not yet."
Malfrith frowns, "And what will? I wish time alone with this woman."
Darrla is noticably better now that she is out of the house. She isn't thrashing as much and her hands no longer clentched shut. Yet her fever was still apparent and she began coughing once more, blood sputtering out of her mouth:
Ellbor looks at darrla backing up "until i see her better and see you fall of this roof."
Malfrith laughs standing up, "See the thing is, if you don't leave us alone. Im gonna kill ya. So you can leave, and all of us live. Or you can stay and die."
Ellbor shakes his head "why do you wish death right now lets fix her up then i will kill you."
Malfrith laughs pulling his unsheathing his blades elegantly, "Cause I don't need you to do that. Have you not learned from past experinces mate?"
Ellbor takes his leave.
Darrla though she -was- now in the open, her nightmares began to haunt her once more. She began thrashing about, which was not good atop a roof. She whimpered as the dreams took over.
Darrla slowly opened her eyes to see nothing but rooftops. Her eyes grow wide as she fumbles around trying to get a grasp and good footing as she attempts to stand.
Malfrith takes a few steps back, pulling his mask off along with his hood. Simply staring at her.
Darrla sees Malfrith and backs up withdrawing her sword almost immediately. "What is going on?"
Malfrith says, 'Sindarin: My love... *Normal tongue: Making sure you we're ok.'
Darrla growls. "What care you for how I am doing? You left me! Left me to be with her!" :She growls stepping towards him, her hands shaking with anger, yet her sword drawn and pointed at him:
Malfrith says, '*Gets down on his knees infront of her* I left you, for your own good. I was a waste of your life Darrla, a burden.'
Darrla growls as she steps closer to him her sword now at his neck. "NO! You abandoned me, just like all the rest! Left me to be with Gwyn!"
Malfrith says, '*Pushes his throat closer to her blade* I did it for you... You know this.'
Darrla growls as the blade pierces his flesh. "NO! You lie! You left me, abadoned me like everyone else in my life. I'm all alone now! You wanted to be with her all along."
Malfrith says, '*Dosen't budge as the blade peirces his throat* Everything I've done has been for you, do you not know this from the past?'
Darrla steadies her hand and takes a step closer. "Are you happy?"
Malfrith says, 'Sindarian: I will never be happy again without you.'
Darrla growls as she jabs at his neck again. "Stop speaking in that high and mighty language...."
Malfrith says, '*Closes his eyes* Either put the blade away and talk to me, or finish it.'
Darrla says, 'Tell me if you are happy! :She shouted:'
Malfrith says, 'I am not.'
Darrla shakes her head. "You are a fool. I should end your miserable life right now." :she paused for a moment: "Is that what you want?"
Malfrith says, 'I am a fool, and you should end my life. No, I do not wish to die, I woulden't be able to love you in death.'
Darrla unsheaths her second sword. "Does she make you happy? Do you love her?"
Malfrith says, '*Shakes his head* I do not love her as I do you.'
Darrla growls once more as she takes a step forward jabbing her blade into his chest just over his heart. "That is not what I asked."
Malfrith says, 'There are many different definitions of love, ones for lovers, others for friends, and family. *Reaches down and lifts his shirt, Revealing the freshly carved DARRLA*'
Darrla sighs and shakes her head as her sword moves deeper into his flesh. "You are pathetic, forget about me and go be happy."
Malfrith says, 'I am pathetic, but I will never leave you alone. I will always watch you, always give you gifts...Although I am no longer worthy of you, I will always show my love.'
Malfrith says, 'I've always been pathetic. You still loved me.'
Darrla growls as she plunges her sword deep into his chest (or attempts to), only the sword went sideways missing any vital organs. "I don't love you! Leave me alone, I don't ever want to see you again!"
Malfrith says, '*Eyes open wide, tears pouring down his face from her words rather than her blade. He rolls to the side, blood following him down the roof. His body stoping as it reached the windowthingy that is up here*'
Darrla turns away from him. Her heart feeling as if it had sunk into her stomach. She wanted to vomit, none of those words she meant, but if that is what she had to say to make him happier with someone else, that is what she said. "Now leave my sight you pathetic excuse for a man."
Malfrith says, '*Spoke weakly up to her, his face expresionless* Sindarin: Never...'
Darrla had no idea what he was saying but tears rolled down her face as her back was faced to him. "If I see you again, I will kill you. Right now, you just aren't worth my time." :She had no idea what she could say to make him forget about her: "I have no respect for your pathetic soul, and the day you left me, I slept with another man because I didn't love you."
Malfrith says, 'Your wedding dress looked beautiful on you...*He said interupting her*'
Malfrith says, 'You never needed me, nor did you love me?...But I still will love you.'
Darrla tried her hardest to maintain that stern voice of hers. Which she succeeded, but she bit her lip afterwards so hard that it bled. "You sicken me, I hope you die in a ditch where the pigs will feast on your flesh." :With that she jumped off the roof, landing somewhat gracefully, perhaps spraining an ankle, but she would walk as straight as ever.:
