Therindan blinked and stepped back to the doorway, looking to the newcomer still completely expressionless
Sairalis looks over her shoulder slightly, "Your orders, my Lord."
Thorvall widens his eyes. "Darrla..." He looks her up and down. "Dressed for adventure I see."
Thorvall continues. "Still wanting to make yourself useful, be a part of a greater good?"
Darrla wonders exactly what he meant but nods anyways. "Always up for some adventure I suppose." :Her voice was soft and meek. She was a little afraid of all the company, not having any idea who they are.: "I uhmm...yes....I didn't leave....I have stayed to c do good in the world..."
Sairalis steps to the side as she hears Thorvall approach from behind her. Her posture still tense and ready to intervene.
Elanwen crosses her arms and rests them on her belly.
Thorvall says, 'Well, this is Sairalis, and this is Therindan, they are off on a scouting mission for us, they could use a guide who...knows Orcs."'
Darrla clentches her jaws. "Oh? S-so....soon?" : She looks to the ground fumbling with her hands a bit: "Where at?"
Sairalis shows no visible expression but she is is curious just how much this woman might know about guiding.
Thorvall gestures to Celebarn. "Lord Celebarn here can fish you out some equipment no doubt, and not far, Nen Harn."
Darrla nods her head. "Whatever I can do to prove that I am trustworthy...and want to do good now." : She clentched her jaw, upset that this confontation with the orcs would happen so soon.:
Darrla waits there still fidgiting with her hands, her eyes downcast and an odd sorrow shown in those emeralds. She never knew it would be so soon. Nobody knew exactly how hard this was for Darrla.
Sairalis looks to Celebarn, "{Sindarin} Will you show us the maps then?"
Therindan blinked and looked to Celebarn and spoke softly in Sindarin for both him and Saira "<Sindarin> I'll leave directly, as I said. I will meet you both there, I know the area. I will not get any closer until I see you, miss."
Thorvall , not knowing how hard it was for Darrla, simply nodded. "Well, if it isn't now, it will be in the next few days, however..." He grins. "You can begin planning it with them." He looked back, "Ready to ride, love?"
Celebarn nods and motions towards the table as he pulls a map from the bookcase. "Yes let us go to the table."
Elanwen grins. "I'm always ready."
Darrla nods her head. Feeling a bit at ease as she steps back away from the door.
Therindan nods to Celebarn "<Sindarin> I know the way. I would meet you there, as I said. I will be atop Echad Sul. You can find me there before we move to Nen Harn." silently he stepped out past Thor and Darrla outside and into the daylight
Elanwen waddles out behing thorvall.
Sairalis speaks to Therindan, "{Sindarin} Ride safe."
Darrla has no idea what they are saying. She frowns as she slowly enters into the room to peek over the shoulders at the maps.
Celebarn unfolds the map on the table. And points to Bree. "Here is Bree as you see. Where you two want to go is just north of the Chetwood here." He points to Nen Harn.
Darrla 's hands begin to shake as she spots the map, knowing the area all too well. She bites her lower lip hard, her hands quickly grasping the hilts of her blades. A reaction she normally had when her hands shook so bad.
Sairalis nods to Celebarn. "I am familiar with the area. I will need to find Echad Sul to meet with Therindan."
Darrla looks to the man as her voice cracks. "Do you have a larger map of the area there?" : Pointing to Nen Harn:
Darrla spots the rat scurrying around as her hands grip the hilts harder and in one single move the rat was skewered on the end of her sword.
Darrla kicked it off the end of her sword and quickly resheathed her sword and looked at the two. "You guys want that?"
Sairalis wrinkles her nose in disgust, shaking her head. "No, thank you."
Celebarn nods and lays out the other map. "Here is Echad Sul. I will send a friend of mine, Gawihir with you. If you need to send word back simply whistle thusly. "He lets out a low whistle. "Give him your message and he will fly back to me. No thank you."
Sairalis looks up to Celebarn, "{Sindarin} This bird of yours...will you trust it to return to you?"
Darrla still has no idea what is going on. "Well, it doesn't seem like I am really needed here. Seems like you've got all your Craben in a row....I should probablly get going..." : She scoops the rat up by the tail as it drips with blood and slowly steps back:
Celebarn nods (Sindarin) He is not my bird but we have been friends for many year I do indeed trust him."
Darrla still cannot understand the language, for all she knew they were speaking gibberish because they thought her to be dumb. So she turned away from the two.
Sairalis looks to the woman, "Lord Thorvall has requested you come with us...."
Celebarn nods "Indeed he did. Will you not go?"
Darrla nods her head. "He did....but I can see I don't really fit in with you two....so maybe some other time." : She nervously took a step forward with the rat in her hand:
Sairalis narrows her gaze on the back of the woman, "You would do wise to not press where Lord Thorvall has made a decision. My conversing with Celebarn is merely of my own. It will be you and I that make this trip to meet with Therindan."
Celebarn says, 'Yes I remain here. If you wish to prove yourself going is the way to do it.'
Darrla clentches her teeth so that her jaw was set. "I am my own woman and nobody orders me around. I am not under your 'Lord'. I merely wished to do good, but there are others ways I can do it." : She turns then: "I don't need someone giving me attitude for something I -volunteer- to do....."
Sairalis merely says, "Suit yourself." and turns back to the map to get a better jist of where Echad Sul is for the excursion tomorrow.
Celebarn says, 'I am ordering you to do nothing. You are free to go if you wish it'
Darrla nods her head, she hadn't realized that she had squeezed the insides of the rat outward. She looked at her hand and dropped the rat. She moved over to the map again and with a bloodied finger she marked an X in a particular spot. "This is where they camp, and this is where they are most vulnerable, if you come through this way." : She traced her finger with blood along the X to the entrance way that was the weakest. Her eyes were filled with tears as she did it and she turned her head away from two. This was very ironic. To think, she was doing the same exact thing that she did for the orcs....only this time it was against them. "They like dogs.....they are distracted by them....they like the taste." :With that she stepped back, making sure to hide her face.
Sairalis says, 'I haven't a dog to bring, but surely I can persuade a pack of forest wolves to enter their camp.'
Celebarn nods "Thank you for the information, I'm sure it will be of use."
Sairalis nods in agreement.
Darrla shakes her head. "No, it has to be a dog. Tie him up to a pole with a ragged rope on the opposite end you wish to enter. They will see the dog and go after it. The rope will break and they will chase after the dog giving you the advantage..." : She turned away from them:
Celebarn says, 'That I leave to Sairalis as I am not going.'
Darrla ~Tears streamed down her face as the thought of how in the past she used that same antic to get out of her cage to steal some food. She clentched her jaw once more.~
Sairalis taps her chin, thinking of where to obtain a dog. She nods to Celebarn. "I shall see what I can do."
Darrla says, 'I shall take my leave. I can't do anymore than what I have...I'm not ready yet to see them again. : She bit her lower lip as she thought of harming her 'family':'
Sairalis nods to no one in particular. "As you wish." She then looks to Celebarn, "{Sindarin} Will you mind if take this map. I do promise to return it."
Celebarn says, 'Well thank you for what information you have given us. I wish you safe travels'
Sairalis looks over her shoulder slightly, "Your orders, my Lord."
Thorvall widens his eyes. "Darrla..." He looks her up and down. "Dressed for adventure I see."
